The Problem
Your Government.
Their Career.
40+
Years in office
Chuck Grassley has been in the Senate since 1981. Your first cell phone didn't last 40 years. Why does he?
37+
Years — Pelosi
Nancy Pelosi has represented San Francisco since 1987. The Berlin Wall fell. The internet was invented. She's still there.
90%
Americans want term limits
Nine out of ten Americans support term limits. It's the most popular political reform in the country. Congress won't touch it.
$0
What they lose when they vote wrong
Career politicians face zero financial consequence for failing you. They keep the salary. They keep the pension. They keep the power.

The people who were supposed to serve you figured out a long time ago that the real game isn't serving — it's staying.

Stay long enough and the lobbyists know your name. The donor class has your personal cell. You stop being a public servant and start being a ruling class.

"The average American changes jobs every 4 years. The average U.S. Senator has been in office for 11. Some of these people have been in Washington longer than their constituents have been alive."

This isn't a red problem. This isn't a blue problem. Your representative is getting rich while you're getting squeezed — regardless of which party they belong to.

The Founders
Built Us A Backdoor.

They knew this day would come. They knew that power corrupts, that institutions calcify, and that eventually the people running the government would start running it for themselves.

So they wrote Article V into the Constitution — a mechanism that bypasses Congress entirely. If 34 state legislatures pass a resolution calling for a Convention of States, that convention happens. Congress doesn't get a vote. The President doesn't get a veto.

34

States Pass The Resolution

State legislatures vote to call a Convention of States. We are at 20. We need 14 more.

The Convention Meets

Delegates from all states meet and propose constitutional amendments — including term limits.

38

States Ratify

38 states must ratify for it to become law. Career politicians. Gone. Constitutionally.

Article V — United States Constitution

"The Congress... on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments... which shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths thereof."

U.S. Const. art. V

This has never been used.
It has never been this close.
20 of 34 states have already passed the resolution.
